Mary Thoma opening acting studio

Local stage and screen actress Mary Thoma is opening the Art and Soul of Acting studio. It will offer training opportunities for persons working -- or aspiring to work -- in theater, film, radio or commercials. The studio will offer "classes, workshops, private and web-cam coaching, consultation, the business of acting and Actors' Support Groups."
Thomas has taught acting and creativity courses for 25 years. The member of the Screen Actors Guild has worked with actors like Tom Sizemore, Gary Grubbs, Alia Shawkat, Illeana Douglas and Bill Smitrovich. She has also worked with Larry Silverberg, an author and director of The True Acting Institute.
Thoma's Art and Soul of Acting will partner with Silverberg's institute and other studio in the U.S. and Europe.
