Space Rentals

Searching for a unique location for your next party, business meeting, or special event?  All of the spaces housed within The Robinson Film Center – from the theaters and multi-use spaces to Abby Singer’s Bistro – may be rented for personal, group, or business events.

Willis-Knighton Theater 

A 138-seat, 1,600 sq. foot luxury theater featuring stadium seating and surround sound. Black leatherette seats and a unique, teardrop-shaped seating pattern provide an optimal viewing experience. Equipped for world-class presentation of 35mm film, DVD, Blu-Ray, digital videotape, computer presentations, archival/repertory film screenings, video gaming, guest speakers with A/V-enhanced lectures, panel discussions and more. Designed by six-time Academy Award®-winner Glenn Berggren. 

Theater must be rented for a minimum of three hours, including a required period of 30 minutes prior to and following event or presentation.

Kennedy Theater

A 48-seat, 675 sq. foot luxury theater featuring stadium seating and surround sound. Capable of presenting all analog and digital formats including 35mm film, DVD, Blu-Ray, digital videotape, computer presentations, archival/repertory film screenings, video gaming, guest speakers with A/V-enhanced lectures, and more. Designed by six-time Academy Award®-winner Glenn Berggren. 

Theater must be rented for a minimum of three hours, including a required period of 30 minutes prior to and following event or presentation.

Special Event and Banquet Spaces 

"The Go-Go Room" and "A Friend’s Place" are the two customizable spaces housed on the second floor of the Robinson Film Center.  Each space is capable of seating up to 65.  The spaces are separated by a removable partition wall so that they may be rented individually or, when a larger space is needed, both spaces may be rented as one large space with no wall separating the two.  

Event catering is available through Abby Singer’s, a full-service bistro located on the second floor of the Robinson Film Center.

A third room, the "Screening Room" is a media-enhanced private screening facility capable of seating up to 45. Various furniture options and configurations available. Non-stadium seating. 

All three spaces are capable of presenting any digital format including DVD, High Definition Blu-ray, computer presentations, video gaming, guest speakers with A/V-enhanced lectures and more. Outfitted with a full 5.1 surround sound system, the Screening Room features a removable partition wall, making it possible to rent the Screening Room alone or in conjunction with "The Go-Go Room" and/or "A Friend’s Place" when a larger space is needed.

Abby Singer's Bistro

A full-service bar and bistro featuring a uniquely modern décor and Texas Street’s only public balcony, Abby Singer's Bistro is perfect for professional networking events, birthdays, food and wine clubs, organizational gatherings, trivia nights, and more. Featuring a sophisticated menu with offerings from our popular Chicken & Waffles to the Wizard of Oz Martini. Approximately 805 sq. feet, plus balcony seating for approximately 20.  Please note that food and drink are not included in rental prices.
