The 2010 North Louisiana Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, featuring celebrity guest John Waters, will be held September 10-16, 2010 at The Robinson Film Center in downtown Shreveport.  The event, which will offer a week-long program of film screenings and social events, is organized and presented by P.A.C.E., a nonpartisan organization that works to advance equality in Northwest Louisiana so that the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community can lead open, honest, responsible, and safe lives at home and in the workplace.  Tickets for all festival screenings are now on-sale and may be purchased by clicking the "buy tickets" link above. 

Festival guest John Waters is a celebrated filmmaker, actor, author, and journalist best known as the creator of such films as Hairspray, Cry-Baby, and Serial Mom.  Waters is an openly gay man and an avid supporter of gay rights.  His latest book, Role Models, recently debuted on the Los Angeles Times’ Best-Seller List at #11.
