About the Festival
The Louisiana Film Festival - Student Division, an annual co-presentation of The Robinson Film Center and Centenary College, will be held March 26 & 27 at The Robinson Film Center, located at 617 Texas Street in Downtown Shreveport. Over the course of two days, we'll screen over 30 short films created by K-12 filmmakers from across the United States. These films - which are always highly unique, imaginative and entertaining - range from documentaries to action films, sci-fi to animation. In addition to the student filmmakers' work, we'll also screen the work of guest filmmaker Sean Donnelly, a professional animator and director whose work can be seen at his website, www.awesomeandmodest.com. Donnelly will also host a workshop for young filmmakers. A full schedule of festival events will be posted here soon.
All screenings, showcases and workshops are free to attend. For more information, contact festival organizers Alexandyr Kent or Dr. Michelle Glaros:
